Role Description The CCTV Operator is a full time, on-site role based in Patna, responsible for monitoring live and recorded CCTV footage to identify and report any suspicious activities, security breaches, or equipment issues. Day-to-day tasks include operating DVR/NVR systems, managing camera views, logging incidents, and escalating concerns to appropriate personnel or security teams. The role involves performing basic checks on system performance, coordinating with technical staff when cameras or recording equipment require maintenance, and ensuring all surveillance operations follow company policies and legal guidelines.

The CCTV Operator will maintain detailed records,



respond promptly to alerts or requests for footage, and support overall security operations with clear communication and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

- Ability to operate CCTV systems, DVR/NVR equipment, and basic IP camera interfaces with attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts related to security systems, such as connectivity, bandwidth, and system uptime.
- Strong observational skills, situational awareness, and the ability to recognize and document unusual or suspicious behavior.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for incident reporting and coordination with security and technical teams.
- Comfort with computer-based monitoring tools and data entry, including maintaining logs and records accurately.
- Ability to remain focused during extended periods of monitoring and to respond calmly and promptly in urgent situations.
- Prior experience in CCTV operations, security services, or related fields is an advantage.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training in security systems or IT is beneficial.
- Willingness to work on-site in Patna and adhere to shift schedules, including evenings, weekends, or holidays if needed.
