– Career Counsellor / Candidate Success Specialist (US Staffing)

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Career Counsellor / Candidate Success Specialist to support U.S.-based job seekers in securing full-time opportunities across IT and Non-IT domains. The ideal candidate will have robust knowledge of the U.S. job market, employment authorization categories, and candidate marketing strategies, with the ability to guide professionals through every stage of their job search journey.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide end-to-end career guidance to U.S.-based candidates, including those on F1 OPT, STEM OPT Extension, H1B, H4 EAD, Green Card, and U.S. Citizen work authorizations, helping them identify and pursue suitable full-time employment opportunities.
- Conduct detailed candidate assessments to understand educational background, technical and functional skills, professional experience, visa status, career aspirations, and location preferences.
- Offer personalized career counseling and job search strategies tailored to each candidate’s profile, ensuring alignment with current market demands and hiring trends.
- Develop and execute profile marketing strategies by presenting candidates to suitable employers, recruiters, and hiring managers while considering visa-related constraints and eligibility requirements.
- Assist candidates in identifying opportunities across diverse industries, including information Technology,Engineering,Healthcare,Finance,Operations,Customer Support, Administration, and other skilled sectors.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of active candidates through continuous engagement, relationship management, referrals, networking,and proactive outreach initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with recruitment, account management, and business development teams to align candidate availability with client hiring needs and ensure timely submissions and placements.
- Track candidate activities, application progress, interview schedules, feedback, and placement status through CRM and recruitment management systems.




- Conduct regular follow-ups with candidates to provide constructive feedback, identify improvement areas, address challenges, and maintain high engagement levels throughout the hiring process.
- Guide candidates on professional branding, including LinkedIn optimization, networking best practices, job portal utilization, and effective communication with recruiters and hiring managers.
- Stay informed about U.S. labor market trends, industry hiring demands, employment regulations, and visa-related considerations to provide accurate and up-to-date career guidance.
- Support placement closures by coordinating interviews, managing offer discussions, ensuring documentation readiness, and facilitating smooth onboarding processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience in Career Counseling, US Staffing, Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, or Candidate Relationship Management.
- Strong understanding of U.S. visa categories and employment authorization processes, including OPT, STEM OPT, H1B, H4 EAD, and Green Card status considerations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, counselling, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong resume review, interview coaching, and candidate mentoring capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple candidates and priorities in a quick-paced environment.
- Familiarity with ATS, CRM platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and recruitment tools.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on candidate success, placements, and client satisfaction.
