Role Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy CA Industrial Trainee to join our Finance team.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of modern corporate finance—handling core accounting operations while actively finding ways to automate manual workflows. You will combine solid general finance principles with AI, advanced Excel, and automation tools to make our financial operations leaner, faster, and more accurate.

Key Responsibilities

1. General Finance & Core Accounting

- Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes, ensuring accurate general ledger (GL) entries and accounting treatment.
- Prepare key financial statements, including the Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss (P&L;)

statements, and Cash Flow schedules.
- Support statutory compliance, tax filings, and routine accounting operations.
- Work closely with internal teams and external auditors to support audit readiness and documentation.

2. Finance Automation & Process Optimization

- Identify manual, repetitive finance and accounting tasks (e.g., data entry, schedule preparation, invoice processing) and automate them.
- Leverage AI tools, advanced Excel and automation software to build self-updating reconciliation models and reporting templates.
- Partner with technology and finance leads to streamline data flow between accounting software, databases, and operational systems.
- Design and document standard automated workflows to optimize day-to-day financial operations.

3. Reconciliations & Internal Controls

- Perform regular bank, vendor, customer, and intercompany reconciliations to identify and resolve financial discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in evaluating, strengthening, and enforcing internal financial controls and

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure data security, integrity,



and structured backup across financial tools and accounting databases.

Qualifications & Skills

- Educational Qualification: Passed both groups of CA Intermediate (ICAI).
- ICAI Eligibility: Eligible to commence CA Industrial Training as per ICAI guidelines.
- Automation & Tech Skills:

- Advanced expertise in MS Excel (Power Query, complex

formulas, dashboarding).
- Strong interest in or hands-on experience with AI tools, low-code automation

tools, or data processing.
- Exposure to ERP systems/accounting software.

- Core Finance Knowledge: Strong foundation in accounting concepts, internal controls,

financial reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.

• Soft Skills: Clear communication skills, logical reasoning, and the ability to explain technical or financial processes simply.

- Mindset: Proactive problem solver with a passion for eliminating manual effort through smart technology.
