Role Description This is a full-time, in office CA Article Assistant role based in Delhi, India. The CA Article Assistant will support audit engagements, including statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits, by performing test checks, verifying documentation, and preparing working papers. The role involves assisting with accounting, financial statement preparation, and documentation in accordance with applicable standards and regulatory requirements.

Assistant will help in direct and indirect tax compliance, including return preparation, basic tax computations, and follow-up on assessments and notices. Day-to-day responsibilities also include conducting research on accounting, tax, and regulatory matters, preparing reports and summaries for seniors, maintaining client files, and coordinating with client teams under the guidance of managers and partners.

Qualifications

- Registered as a CA Article Assistant with ICAI and eligible for articleship training.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing concepts, and basic tax laws.
- Ability to work with MS Excel, Word, and other common office and accounting tools.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear working papers and reports.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Capability to work in a team-based environment and follow professional ethics and confidentiality standards.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and handle multiple assignments with timely completion.
- Prior internship or exposure to audit, accounting, or tax work is an added advantage.
