Role Description The Business Development Officer role is a full time, on-site position based in Patna. The role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with individual and corporate clients, and promoting JMDFSL’s insurance and mutual fund offerings.

The Business Development

Officer will conduct market research, analyze client needs, prepare proposals, and support clients through the onboarding and servicing process. Daily activities include meeting prospective clients,



coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely service delivery, maintaining accurate records of leads and conversions, and achieving assigned sales and growth targets. The role also requires providing high-quality customer service, responding to inquiries, and representing the company professionally at meetings and local events.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong New Business Development skills, including lead generation, client acquisition, and relationship management.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and a foundational understanding of Finance to interpret client requirements and recommend suitable products.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for client interactions, presentations, and documentation.
- Candidates should possess reliable Customer Service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, empathy, and client satisfaction.
- Relevant experience in financial services, insurance, or mutual funds sales is highly beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work independently, meet targets, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with basic office software and familiarity with CRM or sales tracking tools is an advantage.
