Role Description The Business Development Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This role involves identifying and nurturing new business opportunities within the publishing and book marketing ecosystem, including prospecting potential clients, conducting outreach, and following up on leads. The associate will perform market research to understand industry trends, competitor offerings, and client needs, and will prepare and deliver presentations to showcase HubHawks’ services.

Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining a robust sales pipeline, supporting campaign proposals,



coordinating with internal teams to align service offerings with client requirements, and contributing to strategic initiatives that drive revenue growth. The role requires regular interaction with authors, publishers, and partners, as well as accurate reporting on business development activities and outcomes.

Qualifications

- Strong presentation abilities, including creating and delivering engaging presentations to diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in lead generation and prospecting, with experience identifying and qualifying potential clients.
- Capability in market research to analyze trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Preferred experience in publishing, media, marketing, or related industries, with an interest in books and content.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Comfort using CRM tools, productivity software, and basic data analysis to track and improve business development efforts.
