Role Description The Branch Head is a full-time, in office role based in Vishakhapatnam, responsible for leading the branch’s overall business, operations, and team performance. This role includes driving customer acquisition and portfolio growth across target segments, ensuring high-quality credit underwriting, and managing risks in line with company policies.

Head will oversee day-to-day branch operations, including compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines, cash and process controls, and accurate reporting.



The role requires coaching and developing team members, setting performance goals, and fostering a customer-centric culture focused on transparency and responsible lending.

Head will also engage with local stakeholders, analyze market opportunities, and collaborate with regional and corporate teams to achieve branch and organizational objectives.

Qualifications

- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in supervising branch or business teams and driving performance.
- Proficiency in branch operations, risk management, and compliance within financial services or banking environments.
- Experience in retail lending, MSME or consumer finance, including credit assessment and portfolio management.
- Ability to build customer relationships, manage local market engagement, and support business development initiatives.
- Solid analytical and decision-making skills, including comfort with data-driven insights and performance metrics.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities, both within the branch and with regional/corporate teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification or MBA is an advantage.
- Prior experience as a branch manager or in a similar leadership role in financial services, especially in lending-focused institutions, is preferred.
