Company Description B-ABLE Foundation is a Section 8 not-for-profit organization established in 2020 in Recent Delhi, dedicated to creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for women and youth. As an entity of Basix-Academy for Building Lifelong Employability Ltd. (B-ABLE Ltd.), part of the BASIX Social Enterprise Group, the foundation draws on decades of experience in livelihood promotion and employability. It is registered under 12 A, 80 G, CSR 1, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001, and has implemented skill-building and livelihood programs across 21 states in India in sectors such as healthcare, agriculture, construction, and retail.
The organization focuses on bridging the unemployment gap among rural and urban youth and women from lower socio-economic backgrounds. B-ABLE Foundation continues to design inclusive, innovative, and scalable employment solutions to contribute to a prosperous “Rurban” economy.
Role Description The Block Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Chhapra Bihar, responsible for coordinating livelihood and skill development initiatives at the block level. The role involves planning and executing project activities, mobilizing beneficiaries, and maintaining regular communication with local stakeholders, including community leaders, training partners, and government representatives.

Coordinator will oversee training schedules, monitor program delivery, track participant attendance and progress, and ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
This position also includes organizing outreach events, field visits, and awareness campaigns, while identifying local opportunities for micro-entrepreneurship and employment.

Coordinator will collaborate closely with the central project team to share field insights, support quality implementation, and resolve operational challenges in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Strong project coordination and field management skills, including planning, organizing, and monitoring activities at the block level.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with community members, local institutions, and diverse stakeholders.
- Basic data management and reporting skills, including maintaining records, preparing progress reports, and using digital tools or spreadsheets.
- Community mobilization and outreach capabilities, with experience in conducting meetings, awareness drives, and beneficiary counseling.
- Understanding of livelihood, skill development, or social sector programs; prior experience in NGOs or development organizations is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently in field conditions, travel within the block as needed, and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in social sciences, rural development, management, or a related field; local language proficiency is highly desirable.
- Commitment to gender equity, inclusion, and ethical practices, with sensitivity to the needs of youth and women from diverse backgrounds.
