Role Description The Back Office Sales Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat, responsible for supporting the sales team with technical and administrative activities. Day-to-day tasks include preparing technical and commercial proposals, reviewing customer specifications, and coordinating with engineering and production teams to ensure accurate solutions for earthing and lightning protection projects. The role involves responding to customer inquiries, providing pre- and post-sales technical support,



and maintaining up-to-date documentation such as drawings, datasheets, and compliance records.

The Back Office Sales

Engineer will assist in analyzing project requirements, generating quotations, updating CRM or sales tracking systems, and preparing reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Collaboration with the sales team to follow up on leads, support tenders, and ensure timely order processing is also a key part of this position.

Qualifications

- Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills for electrical safety, earthing, and lightning protection solutions.
- Knowledge of information technology tools and software commonly used for sales support, documentation, and CRM systems.
- Customer service skills, including explicit communication, responsiveness, and the ability to manage inquiries and follow-ups professionally.
- Experience in delivering or supporting technical training, product demonstrations, or workshops for internal teams or customers.
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field, with understanding of grounding, LPS, and relevant standards (e.g., IEC 62305).
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and site reports, and translate them into accurate proposals and quotations.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic design or calculation tools used in electrical engineering projects.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with
