Job Title: Axway MFT Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Axway MFT Engineer to design, implement, administer, and support enterprise Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions using the Axway MFT suite. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Axway SecureTransport, Axway CFT, and B2Bi, along with expertise in secure file transfer protocols, automation, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and support enterprise file transfer solutions using the Axway MFT platform.
- Install, configure, administer, and maintain Axway SecureTransport, Axway CFT, and B2Bi environments.
- Develop and manage secure file transfer workflows between internal and external business partners.
- Configure and support file transfer protocols such as SFTP, FTPS, FTP/S, HTTPS, AS2, and Connect.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues related to managed file transfers.
- Implement encryption, digital certificates, PGP encryption/decryption, and secure communication standards.
- Configure trading partners, user accounts, scheduling, routing rules, and automation workflows.
- Work with application, infrastructure, and network teams to resolve integration and connectivity issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and ensure high availability and reliability of MFT services.
- Support deployment, migration, upgrades, patching, and performance tuning of Axway MFT environments.
- Create operational documentation, SOPs, and technical design documents.




- Participate in on-call support and production maintenance activities.

Required Skills

- 5–8 years of IT experience with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience in Axway MFT solutions.
- Strong experience with:
- Axway SecureTransport
- Axway CFT (Cross File Transfer)
- Axway B2Bi
- Hands-on experience with secure file transfer protocols:
- SFTP
- FTPS
- FTP/S
- AS2
- HTTPS
- Connect (preferred)
- Strong understanding of PGP encryption, SSL/TLS certificates, SSH keys, and secure communication.
- Experience configuring trading partners and secure file transfer workflows.
- Good knowledge of Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting.
- Experience with job schedulers such as Control-M, Autosys, or Cron.
- Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.
- Experience with log analysis, monitoring, and incident management.

Positive to Have

- Experience with EDI standards such as X12 and EDIFACT.
- Knowledge of enterprise integration platforms and middleware.
- Experience with REST APIs and web services.
- Familiarity with Java or Python scripting.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is an added advantage.

Education
