Role Description The Associate Search Engine Optimization Analyst Trainee is an on-site role based in Port Blair. This role involves assisting with keyword research, on-page optimization, and technical SEO tasks to improve website visibility and organic traffic. The trainee will support content optimization, metadata updates, link-building efforts, and performance tracking using analytics and SEO tools.

Daily responsibilities include preparing SEO reports, monitoring rankings,



identifying optimization opportunities, and collaborating with content, design, and development teams to implement best practices. The role also includes staying updated on search engine guidelines, algorithm changes, and industry trends to help refine SEO strategies.

Qualifications

- Foundational SEO knowledge, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and basic technical SEO skills.
- Ability to work with analytics and SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, keyword research tools) and interpret performance data.
- Comfort with content optimization, metadata writing, and collaboration with content and design teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, quick-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Interest in digital marketing, search engine algorithms, and continuous learning in SEO and related domains.
- Experience or coursework in web technologies (HTML/CSS basics) and familiarity with CMS platforms is an advantage.
