Role Overview

You will work in a fast-paced environment where we are responsible for the most critical systems. Our external teams ( Customers ) count on us to keep their MySQL database running and we are vital to the success of their business. You will troubleshoot and resolve customer issues related to the DB system's availability and performance.

You will develop relationships with customers, comprehend and fulfil their needs, and maintain their satisfaction through regular communication and engagement with their environments.

Responsibility

- Major focus on handling the database Alarms.
- Identifying the root cause for resolving performance and scalability issues
- Optimizing the complex SQL.
- Handle the tickets assigned within the SLA




- Communicate clearly for the questions and database activities raised over client instant messaging channels (Slack, Skype, Hangouts)
- Get into Client calls on Performance issues and other tasks.
- Handle escalations and escalate internally on time.
- Rubook creation for technical tasks and ease the team efforts.
- Writing the technical and process documents.
- Managing the client-based operations documents to ease scheduled & repeated tasks for the database operations team.
- Deliver monthly performance goals assigned.
- Complete the monthly activities assigned.

Skills Required: (Freshers)

- Excellent and strong written and spoken English.
- Good knowledge of SQL language.
- Teamwork in a fast-paced setting.
- Knowledge of operating system concepts
- Knowledge of database system concepts
- Knowledge of Linux and Linux commands.
- Knowledge of cloud and related technologies.
- Polite, friendly and professional; this position requires significant customer interaction and teamwork.
- Process-oriented and teamwork play a pivotal role.
- Strong work ethic and accepts feedback from others.

Candidates with certifications in Linux, Databases, and Cloud will have an added advantage
