Role Description The Assistant Stage Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Lucknow, supporting the planning and execution of stage-related activities for events. This role involves coordinating rehearsals, managing backstage operations, and assisting with cueing performers, technicians, and other crew members during live shows and productions.

Manager will help implement stage layouts, support lighting and sound teams, and ensure smooth transitions between acts and segments.





Responsibilities include maintaining schedules, tracking props and equipment, communicating real-time updates to the event management team, and contributing to safety and compliance backstage. The role also requires close collaboration with directors, production managers, artists, and vendors to deliver well-organized, high-quality event experiences.

Qualifications

- Strong event planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines during live events.
- Knowledge of stage lighting and basic technical coordination to support technicians and ensure effective stage setups.
- Familiarity with music and performing arts to understand show flow, cues, and performance requirements.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with production teams, performers, and vendors.
- Ability to work on-site for extended hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to handle backstage issues quickly and safely.
- Prior experience in stage management, theatre production, events, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant education in event management, performing arts, or a related discipline is an advantage.
