Role Description The Assistant Professor of Business Analytics will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in business analytics, including subjects such as statistical methods, data visualization, predictive modeling, and related analytical tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and delivering lectures, facilitating discussions, supervising student projects, and developing course materials aligned with the curriculum and learning outcomes.

The role involves active engagement in research activities, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, participating in academic conferences, and contributing to collaborative research initiatives.

The Assistant

Professor will also mentor students, support departmental initiatives,



and contribute to curriculum development and program enhancement. This is a full time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in university teaching and training in Business Analytics or closely related disciplines.
- Strong background in curriculum development for analytics, data-driven decision making, and related business subjects.
- Proven research capabilities, including the ability to conduct independent and collaborative research, preferably with publications in reputable journals.
- Applied knowledge of Economics as it relates to business analytics, data interpretation, and policy or market analysis.
- Relevant academic qualifications, such as a Ph.D. or equivalent in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Management, or a related field (candidates with a strong research profile and nearing completion of a Ph.D. may also be considered).
- Proficiency with analytical tools and software (e.g., R, Python, SQL, Excel, visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI) and willingness to integrate technology into teaching.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners and foster an inclusive classroom environment.
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues, contribute to departmental activities, and participate in outreach or industry-interface initiatives.
- Prior teaching or industry experience in business analytics or related fields is an advantage.
