Candidates must possess

- Master’s Degree in Mathematics or a relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university, with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever a grading system is followed.
- NET/SET/SLET qualification in the relevant subject, as applicable, in accordance with the UGC Regulations and amendments in force.
- Candidates claiming exemption from NET/SET/SLET shall be considered only where such exemption is specifically permissible under the applicable UGC Regulations and has been duly established.
- The candidate must fulfil all other eligibility conditions prescribed under the UGC Regulations on Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and Other Academic Staff, as amended from time to time, and the applicable rules of S-VYASA Deemed-to-be University.

Desirable Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Mathematics or a relevant/allied discipline.
- Solid academic record at Bachelor’s and Master’s levels.




- Teaching experience at University/College level.
- Demonstrated research experience and publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals.
- Ability to teach undergraduate/postgraduate Mathematics and interdisciplinary courses.
- Familiarity with mathematical/statistical software, computational methods or interdisciplinary applications of Mathematics will be an advantage.
- Ability to contribute to curriculum development, student mentoring, research and academic administration.

Key Responsibilities The selected candidate will be expected to:
- Teach Mathematics courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Develop course materials and participate in curriculum development.
- Undertake and publish quality research.
- Guide and mentor students.
- Participate in seminars, workshops, conferences and faculty development programmes.
- Contribute to interdisciplinary teaching and research.
- Undertake academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the University.
- Participate actively in the academic and institutional activities of S-VYASA.

General Conditions
- The appointment and service conditions shall be governed by the applicable UGC Regulations, Government of India norms, and S-VYASA Deemed-to-be University rules,



as amended from time to time.
- Mere fulfilment of the minimum eligibility criteria does not confer any right to be called for interview or selected for appointment.
- The University reserves the right to shortlist candidates based on academic qualifications, research profile, teaching experience and other relevant criteria.
