Role Description The Assistant Merchandiser is a full time, on-site role based in Jodhpur. This role supports the merchandising team in managing product assortments, coordinating with production, and tracking order status to ensure timely delivery for international buyers. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining product catalogs, preparing price lists and quotations, assisting with sample development, and updating buyers on product and order information.

Merchandiser will collaborate with sales, customer service, and marketing teams to align product presentation with buyer requirements and market trends. The role also involves handling basic documentation, supporting showroom or display arrangements, and contributing to the smooth communication flow between buyers and internal teams.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with buyers and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess Sales and Retail skills to understand buyer needs, product assortments, and commercial considerations.
- Candidates should possess Marketing skills to support product presentation, basic merchandising communication, and promotional coordination.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple orders and timelines.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfort with digital tools for documentation and reporting.
- Ability to work on-site in Jodhpur and collaborate in a fast-paced manufacturing and export environment.
- Prior experience in furniture, home décor, export merchandising, or related fields is an advantage.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.
