Role OverviewWe are looking for a hands-on First Mile & Logistics Operations Executive to manage the movement of stocks from our vendors/manufacturing locations to warehouses and fulfilment points.

The person will be responsible for vehicle booking, stock movement, delivery tracking, documentation, expense management, and ensuring zero pilferage or stock loss in transit.

Key Responsibilities

- Book and coordinate trucks, tempos, and other vehicles for stock movement.
- Plan and manage daily pickups from vendors and manufacturing locations.
- Coordinate with vendors, drivers, transporters and warehouse teams to ensure timely movement and delivery.
- Track stocks from pickup until successful delivery and GRN.
- Maintain proper records of quantities dispatched, received, shortages, damages and returns.
- Ensure minimal pilferage, damage, or stock loss during transportation, and investigate any discrepancies.
- Maintain trip-wise records of vehicle costs, loading/unloading charges, tolls and other logistics expenses.
- Verify transporter bills and maintain accurate logistics expense accounts.




- Negotiate and maintain relationships with transporters and vehicle vendors.
- Track transporter performance, delivery TAT, and transportation costs.
- Support mid-mile/courier operations and coordinate with courier partners for timely movement and delivery.

Preferred Candidate
- 2-5 years of experience in first-mile, transportation, warehouse logistics or courier operations.
- Experience in FMCG, e-commerce, quick commerce, courier or distribution operations preferred.
- Candidates who have worked with courier companies or managed mid-mile operations will be strongly preferred.
- Positive knowledge of truck/tempo booking and local transport networks.
- Strong in Excel, record-keeping, and basic expense/account management.
- Comfortable working on-ground and solving day-to-day logistics problems.
- High ownership and attention to stock reconciliation and cost control.

What we are looking for: Someone who treats every shipment as their responsibility - from the moment the stock leaves the vendor until it is safely received, accounted for and closed.
