Role Description The Assistant Company Secretary will support the firm’s corporate secretarial and legal functions on a full-time basis, working on-site in Mumbai. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and maintaining statutory registers and records, assisting in convening and documenting board and shareholder meetings, and ensuring timely filings and compliances under company law and related regulations. The role involves drafting and reviewing resolutions,
notices, minutes, and corporate documents, as well as coordinating with clients, regulators, and internal teams on secretarial and compliance matters.

Secretary will also assist senior professionals in transaction-related documentation, due diligence support, and stakeholder reporting for fundraising and M&A; engagements.
Qualifications
- Strong company secretarial skills, including experience with statutory registers, board and shareholder meetings, and corporate filings and compliances.
- Knowledge of corporate law, SEBI and FEMA regulations, and practical exposure to corporate governance and stakeholder reporting.
- Ability to draft, review, and proofread legal and corporate documents such as notices, minutes, resolutions, and basic transaction-related agreements.
- Effective communication, coordination, and client-handling skills, with the ability to work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant compliance/secretarial tools, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Qualified or semi-qualified Company Secretary (CS); additional qualifications such as LL.B. or exposure to deal advisory or due diligence are an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work full-time in an on-site, fast-paced qualified environment in Mumbai.
