Must Have:
- Minimum 2 years of development industry experience with exposure to complete life cycle of development at least once on CLP/RPG/RPGLE on commercial applications.
- Extensive Knowledge of AS400 technology (RPGLE, CLLE, DB2), ILE which also means working knowledge of modular programming in ILE-RPG including Modules, Service Programs etc.
- Appreciation and knowledge of effort estimation, Unit Testing. Should be experienced in writing comprehensive Unit Test Cases / Plans. Able to execute & coordinate SIT & UAT with another vendor and Project Implementation
- Knowledge of trouble shooting during various phases of development
- Reasonable working experience of coding new (and changing) complex CL programs.
- Knowledge of DB2 concepts and associated methodologies.
- Should have good English communication and experience in multi culture work environment.
Good-to-Have:
- Experience in Insurance domain (preferred in Life insurance domain)
- Can work as part of the larger team to ensure satisfactory deliveries.
- Proven ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment.
