Thekabarnews.com—Asian musicians have contributed regional songs to Spider-Man film campaigns and localized soundtrack editions for more than two decades. This has connected the Hollywood franchise with audiences in Indonesia, Pakistan, India, Taiwan and Japan. The distinction is important: these songs did not necessarily appear in every international version of the films or on their primary global soundtrack albums. Some were regional bonus tracks, locally commissioned themes or songs inspired by the movies.
Indonesia’s involvement began with rock band /rif and its song “Dunia” for Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man in 2002. A verified Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia upload identifies the track as a Spider-Man soundtrack song.
Vocalist Andy /rif later said Sony Music Indonesia submitted music alongside labels from other countries. This was before “Dunia” was selected for the Asian market.
Two years later, Indonesian rock group Edane contributed “Cry Out” to the Indonesian edition of the Spider-Man 2 soundtrack.
Guitarist Eet
Sjahranie welcomed the selection as an opportunity for the band to reach listeners across Asia.
“We are grateful that the Spider-Man 2 soundtrack compilation finally included our song,” Eet said, according to KapanLagi.
The 2004 film also generated local releases elsewhere in Asia. The Pakistani band Strings recorded “Najane Kyun,” while Japan’s T.M. Revolution supplied “Web of Night.”
Sony Music Japan lists the English version as a soundtrack track. Additionally, the Japanese version is listed as a theme used in subtitled screenings and television promotions.
In 2014, Indian pop-rock band SANAM released “Main Hoon,” a Hindi song inspired by The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Sony Music
India’s official release credits SANAM and directly associates the song with the film.
The regional strategy continued with Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which Sony Pictures released in theaters on July 31, 2026.
Indonesian emo-rock band For Revenge released “I Miss You Every Brand Recent Day,” promoted as an official original song connected to the movie. Its official distribution page carries a 2026 Sony Music Entertainment copyright notice.
Taiwanese singer-songwriter Eric Chou contributed “All For You.” Sony Music Taiwan identifies it as a closing-credits song for the film’s Taiwanese release.
In Japan, Mrs. GREEN APPLE wrote “Brand New” specifically for the movie.
Sony Pictures
Japan confirmed that the track accompanies the end credits of the Japanese-dubbed edition. It is a localized theme rather than part of every theatrical version.
Together, the releases demonstrate how studios and record labels localize global entertainment properties. Rather than forming one universal Spider-Man soundtrack, the songs provide different Asian markets with culturally and linguistically relevant entry points. This allows them to enter the same blockbuster franchise.
