Company Description Custom Design Stories is an innovative boutique design firm that focuses on architecture, interior design, and furniture design with a dynamic, unconventional approach. Founded in January 2020 by Aditya Tognatta and a dedicated team, the firm aims to redefine industry norms and move beyond standard, trend-driven solutions. The studio specializes in creating tailor-made designs that reflect each client’s personality while maintaining a strong, individual design language.

Projects often explore the relationship between form, materials, and context, resulting in work that is both visually compelling and conceptually robust. Every creation is intended to make a distinct design statement and embody the character and ethos of the CDS office.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Architect role based in New Delhi. The Architect will be responsible for developing architectural concepts, preparing drawings and design documentation, and coordinating with the design team to ensure coherent architectural, interior, and furniture solutions. Day-to-day tasks include meeting with clients, interpreting their requirements, preparing design proposals, and refining designs based on feedback and technical constraints.

The role involves collaborating with consultants, vendors, and contractors, overseeing project progress,



and supporting site reviews to ensure design intent and quality standards are met. The Architect will also contribute to material research, integration of new technologies, and continuous improvement of internal design processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate concepts into detailed drawings and project documentation.
- Candidates should possess skills in Project Management, including planning, coordination with stakeholders, and monitoring timelines and budgets.
- Candidates should possess skills in Software Development and Integration where relevant to design workflows, digital tools, or building systems, and be comfortable working with design and modeling software.
- Candidates should have proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino) and visualization tools.
- Candidates should have a recognized degree in Architecture from an accredited institution and, where required, appropriate professional registration or licensure.
- Candidates should demonstrate solid design intuition, attention to detail, and interest in materials research and unconventional design solutions.
- Candidates should have effective communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work on-site with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
