Data Eminence is seeking a motivated Android Developer to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will contribute to the development, testing, and maintenance of Android applications used by our customers and internal teams.

You will collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product teams to transform requirements and designs into functional, responsive mobile applications. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with modern Android development while working remotely.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Developing and maintaining Android applications
- Building new mobile features based on product requirements
- Writing clean, reusable, and maintainable code
- Working with Kotlin and Android SDK
- Designing responsive and user-friendly mobile interfaces
- Integrating REST APIs and third-party services
- Working with local and cloud-based data storage
- Implementing authentication and secure application functionality
- Debugging and resolving application crashes and performance issues
- Testing applications across different Android devices and versions




- Collaborating with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product teams

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 0-2 years of experience in Android development or a relevant internship
- Strong understanding of Kotlin or Java
- Familiarity with Android SDK and Android Studio
- Basic understanding of Android application architecture
- Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON
- Understanding of object-oriented programming
- Familiarity with Git and version control
- Basic knowledge of databases or Firebase is a plus
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills
- Solid attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
