Role Description The Agri Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. The person in this role will provide field-level advisory to farmers on crop planning, input usage, pest and disease management, and best agronomic practices. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting farm visits, organizing farmer meetings and demonstrations, collecting and documenting field data, and sharing timely recommendations aligned with seasonal conditions.

Advisor will also support training programs, coordinate with local authorities and input companies,



and assist in implementing company-led projects and pilots. The role involves regular reporting, maintaining accurate records of farmer interactions, and collaborating with internal teams to improve service delivery.

Qualifications

- Knowledge of agronomy, crop production, and basic plant protection concepts suitable for field advisory work.
- Ability to communicate clearly with farmers and stakeholders in a easy, practical, and culturally sensitive manner.
- Strong organizational skills to plan field visits, manage schedules, and maintain accurate records and reports.
- Comfort with using mobile applications, basic computer tools, and digital platforms for data entry and communication.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Agriculture or a related field preferred; relevant field experience may be considered.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the Pune Division and work in outdoor, field-based environments.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as within a team, with a responsible and ethical approach to work.
- Knowledge of local languages used in the Pune Division is an advantage.
