Store My Goods (SMG) is a tech-enabled storage company transforming how individuals and businesses store, move and manage their belongings. With a growing multi-city warehouse network, SMG combines physical infrastructure, technology and logistics to deliver a seamless storage experience.

Role Overview

We are looking for an AGM – Supply Chain & Operations to own and scale SMG’s end-to-end supply chain and operational ecosystem across cities.

The role will be responsible for warehouse operations, logistics, vendor management, capacity planning, procurement, inventory movement, operational excellence and cost optimisation. The ideal candidate is a hands-on operator who can build scalable processes while maintaining high service quality and strong unit economics.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supply Chain & Logistics

- Own end-to-end movement of customer goods — pickup, transportation, warehouse receipt, storage and delivery.
- Build an efficient and scalable city-level logistics network.
- Optimise routing, vehicle utilisation, manpower and turnaround time.
- Establish SOPs and controls for damage-free movement of goods.
- Drive logistics cost optimisation without compromising customer experience.

2. Warehouse Operations

- Own operational performance across all SMG warehouses.
- Drive warehouse productivity, space utilisation and operational discipline.
- Implement best practices for receiving, tagging, stacking, retrieval, dispatch and inventory reconciliation.
- Improve warehouse capacity utilisation and optimise storage layouts.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, fire and operational standards.

3. Vendor & Partner Management





- Build and manage a strong network of transport, manpower, packaging and operational vendors.
- Negotiate commercial terms and establish SLAs/KPIs.
- Create vendor performance scorecards and accountability mechanisms.
- Reduce vendor dependency and improve service reliability.

4. Capacity & Network Planning

- Support city expansion and warehouse launch planning.
- Forecast storage and logistics capacity requirements based on demand.
- Drive optimal utilisation of existing warehouse capacity.
- Work with leadership on warehouse sizing, location selection and operational feasibility.

5. Process Excellence & Technology

- Build scalable SOPs and operating processes across cities.
- Identify opportunities for automation and technology-led efficiency.
- Work closely with Product & Technology teams on operational tools, dashboards and workflows.
- Use data to identify bottlenecks, reduce turnaround time and improve productivity.

6. Cost & Unit Economics

- Own operational cost metrics including logistics, manpower, warehouse and vendor costs.
- Identify opportunities to improve contribution margins.
- Build city-level operating budgets and monitor performance against targets.
- Drive continuous productivity and cost-efficiency initiatives.

7. Team Leadership

- Lead city operations and supply-chain teams through a strong operating cadence.




- Build performance-driven teams with explicit KPIs and accountability.
- Coach and develop operational leaders and frontline teams.
- Establish daily/weekly/monthly performance reviews.

Ideal Candidate

- 8+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehousing, 3PL, E-commerce, Last Mile or Asset-heavy Operations.
- Experience managing multi-city operations is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of warehouse and transportation economics.
- Proven experience in vendor management and cost optimisation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Strong people-management and stakeholder-management skills.
- Highly execution-oriented with a bias for action.

What Success Looks Like

Within 12–18 months, the AGM should help SMG build a highly efficient, data-driven and scalable supply-chain engine that enables rapid city expansion while improving customer experience, operational reliability and unit economics.

This is a high-ownership role for someone who wants to build the supply-chain backbone of one of India’s emerging storage companies.
