Role Description The Agri Adviser role at Agronomic Fertilizers is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune Division. In this role, the Agri Adviser will provide field-level guidance to farmers on fertilizer usage, crop nutrition, and best agronomic practices. Typical day-to-day tasks include visiting farms, conducting soil and crop assessments, recommending product solutions, and supporting farmers with application methods and schedules.

Adviser will organize and participate in farmer meetings, demonstrations, and trainings to share technical knowledge and promote sustainable practices. The role also includes maintaining accurate records of field visits,



reporting market and crop trends, coordinating closely with the sales team, and ensuring customer satisfaction through ongoing support and follow-up.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of agronomy, crop production, and fertilizer application techniques, with the ability to translate technical information into practical guidance for farmers.
- Experience in on-field advisory or agricultural extension work, including farm visits, demonstrations, and farmer training sessions.
- Ability to analyze soil and crop conditions and develop recommendations that align with local climate, cropping patterns, and farmer needs.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with farmers, colleagues, and local stakeholders.
- Basic business and customer service skills to support product promotion, handle farmer queries, and maintain long-term relationships.
- Comfort working in rural and semi-urban areas, with readiness for regular travel within the Pune Division.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Soil Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in local languages used in the Pune Division and working knowledge of English for documentation and reporting.
- Ability to work independently, manage schedules, and report field activities accurately to management.
