Role Description The Agentic Artificial Intelligence Engineer will design, develop, and maintain AI agents and autonomous systems that integrate with Sails’ SaaS platforms and enterprise solutions. This full-time, on-site role in Vishakhapatnam involves creating agentic architectures, implementing reasoning and planning capabilities, and building robust integrations with cloud services and data pipelines. The engineer will collaborate with product, UX, and backend teams to translate business requirements into AI-driven features, prototype and validate new agent workflows, and optimize performance, reliability, and safety of deployed agents.





Daily responsibilities include writing production-quality code, conducting experiments, evaluating models and policies, documenting designs, and participating in code reviews and design discussions. The role also includes staying current with advances in agentic AI, proposing improvements to existing systems, and contributing to best practices and tooling for AI development within Sails.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in agentic AI system design, including multi-agent architectures, task decomposition, planning, and tool-using agents.
- Candidates should possess solid skills in machine learning and LLM-based development, such as model integration, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, and evaluation of AI behaviors.
- Candidates should possess software engineering skills in languages like Python, Java, or C#, along with experience in APIs, microservices, and integration with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Candidates should possess capabilities in data engineering and analytics, including working with streaming frameworks, databases, and monitoring or logging tools to support AI-driven applications.
- Candidates should possess skills in system design and security, with an understanding of scalable architectures, reliability, error handling, and responsible AI practices.
- Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; experience building production AI or ML systems; and familiarity with domains such as SaaS, enterprise software, or data-intensive applications.
