Role Description The Agency Manager role at Care Insurance is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata.

The Agency

Manager will be responsible for recruiting, training, and mentoring insurance agents, monitoring their performance, and ensuring achievement of sales and growth targets. This role involves developing and executing agency sales strategies, supporting agents in client acquisition and policy servicing, and maintaining strong relationships with customers to drive retention and cross-selling.

Manager will also coordinate with internal teams for product updates, compliance,



and operational support, while regularly analyzing market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities. Daily responsibilities include field visits, review meetings with agents, and reporting on sales performance and forecasts to senior leadership.

Qualifications

- Strong sales and business development skills, including experience in achieving and exceeding targets in insurance or financial services.
- Ability to recruit, train, and manage agency teams, with proven skills in coaching, performance management, and team leadership.
- Customer relationship management capabilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality service and cultivating long-term client partnerships.
- Strategic thinking and planning skills, including market analysis, territory management, and execution of sales strategies.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in presenting, negotiating, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and reporting abilities, including comfort with using digital tools, CRM systems, and basic data analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, marketing, or a related field; an MBA or relevant professional certification is an advantage.
- Prior experience in health insurance or financial services, particularly in agency or channel management, is highly beneficial.
- Willingness to work in office in Kolkata, conduct regular field visits, and adapt to dynamic market and customer needs.
