Role Description The Account Officer is a full time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This position is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, including recording financial transactions, assisting in the preparation and review of financial statements, and supporting month-end and year-end closing processes. The role involves reconciling accounts, monitoring receivables and payables,



coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards.

The Account

Officer also supports finance reporting, responds to customer and vendor queries related to accounts, and contributes to continuous improvement of accounting processes and controls.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Finance and practical experience working with Financial Statements.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data, identifying variances, and supporting decision-making.
- Proficient Communication abilities for clear interaction with internal teams, customers, vendors, and auditors.
- Customer Service orientation to handle account-related queries professionally and maintain positive relationships.
- Relevant academic qualification such as a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software and MS Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Understanding of Indian accounting standards, taxation basics, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work accurately under deadlines in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
