Your Role
Our Asia Life/Health unit is looking for an energetic and dynamic Senior Underwriter to join our Mumbai office. You are a member of the Life/Health team contributing to the development and profitability of our business in Asia. You have medical and financial underwriting and claims assessment responsibilities and will be involved in underwriting development and research,



product development and knowledge enhancement initiatives.
Your Key Responsibilities
Assess and underwrite medical, financial and special risks within delegated authority limits, ensuring timely and consistent underwriting decisions
Provide technical underwriting expertise and support to clients, internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering practical solutions, training and guidance on underwriting matters
Contribute to the development and enhancement of underwriting standards, guidelines, standards, frameworks and best practices
Support claims assessment and approval within delegated authority limits
Monitor market trends, medical advancements, regulatory developments and emerging risks to identify opportunities for innovation and business growth
Collaborate with actuarial, claims and business development teams on product development, and strategic project
