The Data & Insights (D&I;) team transforms data into actionable insights that power EA. We guide strategy and governance, build data and AI solutions, and ensure personalization experimentation and analytics; partnering across teams to improve decisions and create more meaningful player experiences.





The Data Engineer -II will report to the Senior Manager, Data Engineering.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and sustain efficient, scalable, and performant Data Engineering Pipelines.
Develop, optimize, and support production data workflows to ensure comprehensive and accurate datasets.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in Computer science or associated discipline with relevant industry experience(3+ Years) in a data engineering role.
Proficiency in writing and analysing complex SQL, Python or any 4GL.
Solid experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and infrastructure tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
Hands-on experience with Cloud Data Warehouses like Snowflake, Redshift, Big Query or other big data solutions
Experience with distributed data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Airflow, Flink, Beam, and Trino).
Experience with real-time/streaming data technologies (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis, and Spark Streaming).
