Job Summary
To manage legal agreements, regulatory compliance and audit. This includes drafting legal agreements, managing data protection and information security.

Key Responsibilities
- Drafting & vetting all contracts, agreements (such as Non-Disclosure Agreements, Service Agreements, SLA, Channel Partner agreement, Procurement contracts, Letter of Intent, MOU, Addendums,
- Power of Attorney, Leave and License/Lease/Sale-Purchase Agreements), commercial documents & other legal documents (such as demand notices, letters, Letter of intent, legal notices, appointment letter
- Work closely with other functional departments like Marketing, Finance, Liaising, Human Resources etc on matters having legal implications.
- Legal scrutiny of primary documents to establish the genesis of title.
- Identify, anticipate & mitigate legal and commercial risk in a contract and proposing changes required to mitigate risk exposure.
- Responsible to manage any other legal assignment and advising the organization on various legal issues.
- Co-ordination with Lawyers representing the Company for providing necessary information and inputs.
- Negotiations with the Vendors to finalize the agreement in the best interest of the Company.
Additional Responsibilities
- Due diligence in case of any litigation or non-litigation related matters.
- Monitoring the legal documents and records.
- Maintaining legal database with respect to Contracts, renewals, litigation status.
- Abreast with latest legal developments in local, national & international laws and practices.
- Managing Litigation Matters drafting of notice/replies,
Written statements, applications, liaison with external counsel and incidental matters pertaining to any claims, civil, criminal, consumer cases
- arbitration matters, labour litigations, IPR infringement litigation etc. (as and when assigned by Legal Head)
- Conduct legal research and analysis on compliance and legal framework.
- Sending timely reports to Senior Management with respect to the tasks completed, those in progress and the ones which are planned and to flag off the concerns / challenges if any.
Must-have Skill
- 2 to 4 years of PQ experience.
- Hands on experience on In-house corporate legal documentation.
- Candidates are preferable from IT/ITeS industry with above desired profile.
Positive-to-Have Skills
- Knowledge of relevant statutes such as Indian Contract Act, Fiscal & Commercial laws, Labour Laws, Cyber Laws, Data Protection & Privacy related laws, Civil & Criminal Laws, IPR Laws, ADR Laws.
- The candidate is expected to be multi-tasking & exercise sound judgment, be able to work independently and efficiently under time pressures and deadlines, be adept at providing legal solutions and be known for his / her ability to negotiate with outside vendors/ landlords etc.
Qualifications Criteria
- Degree in Law.
- 3 to 5 years of PQ experience.
