Role & responsibilities

- Ensure on time delivery of the production orders as per the plan/schedule.
- Ensuring use of latest revision of all Contract Documents, Contract Specifications and engineering reference and Standards are being implemented in the shop floor.
- To ensure the availability of input materials, tools, etc. as per the released dispatch plan in co-ordination with Bay-1, to ensure maintenance of drawing files- Customer/Model wise. Design, Maintenance and quality, Purchase.
- To check in-house capacity in comparison with the monthly dispatch plan and for OT activities wherever warranted.
- To plan for Fitting and welding on daily / weekly / monthly basis as per the dispatch plan.
- Identification, investigation resolution and close out of non-conformities. Ensuring all inspection & test points are correctly being carrying out by the production personnel. Man management of complete allotted production bay line personnel.
- Production crew loading and machine loading activities as per the plan and ensure the plan is achieved at end of every shift.
- Review the implementation and efficiency of shop floor procedures, processes and control systems.
- Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues.



Reducing the quality cost with the help of analysis of non-conformances on periodic basis and also by following suitable actions (both corrective and preventive).
- Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet organisational quality standards.
- Making most efficient utilisation of the available sources for production.
- Maintain and improve housekeeping in all areas. Ensure 5S practices are implemented in the shop floor.
- Work with internal customers on an ongoing basis, responding to NCs, rapidly identifying and correcting root causes of problems. Submit Corrective Action reports and investigation reports to Quality on time.
- Responsible for coordinating inspection of customer rejected material, defect(s) root cause analysis. Support the recommendations for corrective actions.
- Ensure the workmen performing special processes like welding & fit-up are adequately trained and qualified. Monitor continuity of the work.
- Analyze workmen skill and competency, prepare skill matrix and organize training.
- Ensures all procedures, and work instructions are documented in a transparent, simple and concise manner.

Preferred candidate profile

Male Candidates from Heavy fabrication industry experienced and can join immediately would be preferred.
