Job Title: NICU Nurse
Department: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
Location: Vidhai Birthing Centre and Hospital, Mylapore, Chennai
Reports To: Nursing Superintendent / Medical Officer

Job Summary:
Vidhai Birthing Centre and Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled NICU Nurse to provide specialized care to newborns requiring intensive monitoring and treatment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in neonatal care and a solid commitment to patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor and care for critically ill or premature newborns in the NICU
- Administer medications, feeds, and treatments as prescribed
- Operate and monitor NICU equipment (ventilators, incubators, monitors, etc.)
- Maintain accurate documentation of infant vitals and care plans




- Support parents with guidance on newborn care and breastfeeding
- Respond promptly to emergencies and escalate as needed
- Maintain strict hygiene and infection control protocols

Requirements:

- GNM / B.Sc Nursing with valid Tamil Nadu Nursing Council registration
- Prior NICU/neonatal care experience preferred (freshers with strong training may apply)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) / NRP certification preferred
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts
