Senior Manager India Payroll & Payroll Accounting

We are looking for a seasoned payroll leader to manage end-to-end India Payroll Operations, Payroll Accounting, Statutory Compliance, Financial Controls, and Payroll Governance for a large-scale IT organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end India payroll operations for a large employee base.
- Manage payroll accounting, GL reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and financial close activities.
- Ensure compliance with PF, PT, TDS, LWF, Gratuity, and other statutory requirements.
- Oversee payroll audits, internal controls, and risk management processes.
- Partner with HR, Finance, Tax, Treasury, and external payroll vendors.
- Drive payroll transformation, automation, process improvements, and ERP initiatives.
- Lead and mentor payroll teams while ensuring service excellence.

Ideal Candidate:

- 13+ years of experience in Payroll Operations, Payroll Accounting, and Finance.
- Experience managing payroll for large organizations (5,000+ employees preferred).
- valuable to have handled APAC payroll as well
- Strong exposure to IT, MNC, Shared Services, or Global Business Services environments.
- CA Inter, MBA Finance, or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Experience in payroll transformation, automation, and compliance frameworks is highly desirable.
