**About the Role**

We are looking for a seasoned In-House Advocate to lead our legal function, handle mining, environmental, litigation and corporate compliance matters, and bring a forward-looking, tech-enabled approach to legal operations using AI tools.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Leverage AI-based legal research, contract review, and case management tools to improve turnaround time and accuracy of legal work.

- Extensive AI based Research for Case Laws and Mining Laws and Rules.

- Build and implement AI-assisted workflows for compliance tracking, document automation, and litigation risk analysis across the Company where we believe in a "Prevention is Better than Cure" philosophy.

- Advise senior management on legal risk, strategy, and business decisions using extensive AI tools to reconfirm all informed decisions.

- Coordinate for all litigation, arbitration, and regulatory matters with a special emphasis on AI.

- Draft, vet,



and negotiate commercial contracts, JV agreements, export/import documentation, and vendor contracts using AI.

- Manage relationships with external counsel and represent the company before courts/tribunals as needed.

**Requirements**

- LLB/LLM from a recognized university; enrolled with the Bar Council.

- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience- Strong working knowledge of AI-powered legal tools (e.g., contract analytics, legal research platforms, document automation) hands-on experience is a must, not just familiarity.

- Prior exposure to mining, natural resources law would be an added advantage.

- Proven track record handling regulatory and litigation matters independently.

- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Willingness to be based in the Chandigarh/Tricity region.
