Job Location:Nigeria / IVCJob DescriptionAs Vice President & Profit Center Head, you will lead one of the critical businesses in Olam Agri, driving operations and growth initiatives across multiple regions. The role focuses on ensuring profitability, market leadership, and innovation while pursuing expansion through organic growth, strategic acquisitions, and related categories.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership:Develop and execute the global strategic sales and marketing plan to drive growth. Provide strategic direction to the B2B team and the Manufacturing organization, with aim to maximize revenue at an optimal costProfit & Loss (P&L;) Management:Take full ownership of the business unit's P&L;, including financial forecasting, budget management, and ensuring profitability across international operations. Bottom line responsibilities: Completing the budgeted commitments on volumes, GC, overheads, interest EBIDTA and PATBusiness Development:Identify, evaluate, and pursue current global business opportunities. This includes tracking industry trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to inform strategic decision-making.Team Leadership:Lead and manage diverse and geographically dispersed global teams, fostering a high-performing culture across functions like sales, marketing, production, nutrition, procurement, quality control,



and supply chain.Product Innovation & Management:Initiate and assess new product innovations and ensure the product portfolio meets customer needs and market demands in collaboration with R&D; and technical teams.Operational Excellence:Oversee global operations, ensure smooth execution of projects, timely order fulfillment, and compliance with international industry standards and regulations.Job RequirementsExperience15+ years of extensive experience, including senior leadership or P&L; rolesProven experience in sales, distribution, or Key Account Management roles, particularly in emerging or upcountry marketsExperience managing country-level and product-level business responsibilitiesStrong understanding of global business environments and international market dynamicsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in business management, Economics, or a related fieldMBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferredSkills & CompetenciesStrong negotiation and interpersonal skillsHigh resilience with the ability to manage challenges calmly and effectivelyStrong ownership mindset with end-to-end accountabilityStrong analytical and conceptual thinking, with understanding of microeconomic and macroeconomic factorsAbility to operate effectively in complex international business environmentsOlam Agri is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
