Jewellery Appraiser – True Money Gold
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Location: Erode District

Job Summary

True Money Gold is looking for a responsible Jewellery Appraiser to test and value gold & silver jewellery accurately and support branch operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Test gold & silver jewellery using XRF Machine, Appraiser Kit, Acid Test & Touchstone.
- Check purity, weight, stone deduction, and net weight.
- Identify genuine, imitation, plated, or suspicious jewellery.
- Calculate accurate jewellery value based on purity and market rates.
- Verify BIS Hallmark where applicable.
- Maintain appraisal records and required documentation.
- Safely handle customer jewellery during the appraisal process.
- Coordinate with the Branch Manager and team for smooth operations.
- Explain appraisal results clearly to customers.





Requirements

- 10th / 12th / Any Degree
- Jewellery or Gold Loan Appraisal experience preferred.
- Knowledge of gold testing and purity calculation.
- XRF Machine experience preferred.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Honest, responsible, and detail-oriented.
- Freshers with relevant training/certification can apply.
