1. JOB SUMMARY

ANIKET INFRACON is looking for a responsible and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day construction activities at our Industrial Project located at Vatva, Ahmedabad.

The Site Supervisor will be responsible for supervising manpower, contractors, materials, and site activities to ensure that work is completed as per approved drawings, project requirements, quality standards, safety procedures, and planned schedules.

The candidate should have practical knowledge of industrial civil construction, RCC work, masonry, shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, flooring, finishing, and general site execution activities.

2. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Site Execution & Supervision

- Supervise daily construction activities at the project site.
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and instructions from the Project Engineer/Project Manager.
- Monitor the progress of civil and structural construction activities.
- Ensure work is completed within the assigned timeline.
- Identify site-level issues and immediately report them to the concerned engineer.
- Ensure proper sequencing of construction activities.

B. Manpower Supervision

- Supervise daily deployment of labour and contractors.
- Allocate manpower according to work requirements.
- Monitor worker productivity and attendance at site.
- Guide workers regarding proper work methods and execution.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and labour contractors.
- Ensure adequate manpower is available for planned activities.

C. Civil Construction Work

The candidate should be capable of supervising:

- Excavation and earthwork
- PCC and RCC works
- Foundation and footing works
- Reinforcement and bar bending
- Shuttering/formwork
- Concrete pouring and curing
- Brick/block masonry
- Plastering
- Flooring
- Waterproofing
- Drainage and related civil works
- Industrial flooring and finishing works
- Minor repair and maintenance works

D. Drawing & Measurement

- Read and understand basic civil and structural drawings.
- Check dimensions, levels, alignment, and work locations.
- Ensure execution matches approved drawings.
- Take basic site measurements.




- Maintain records of completed work.
- Report discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions.

E. Material Coordination

- Check availability of required construction materials at site.
- Coordinate with stores/purchase personnel for material requirements.
- Monitor proper utilization of cement, sand, aggregate, steel, blocks, shuttering materials, and other construction materials.
- Minimize material wastage.
- Ensure materials are properly stored and protected.

F. Quality Control

- Ensure construction work is carried out according to required quality standards.
- Check reinforcement, shuttering, line, level, alignment, and dimensions before concreting.
- Coordinate with the QA/QC Engineer for inspections.
- Identify poor-quality or defective work and report it immediately.
- Ensure corrective work is completed as instructed.

G. Safety Compliance

- Ensure workers follow site safety rules.
- Ensure proper use of PPE such as helmets, safety shoes, gloves, reflective jackets, and safety harnesses wherever required.
- Report unsafe working conditions to the Safety Officer/Project Engineer.
- Ensure safe working practices during excavation, concreting, lifting, work at height, and other construction activities.
- Participate in toolbox meetings and safety briefings.

H. Daily Reporting

- Maintain daily site activity records.
- Report manpower deployment and work progress.
- Record material requirements and consumption.
- Report delays, site problems, and manpower shortages.
- Provide daily updates to the Site Engineer/Project Engineer.
- Assist in preparing daily and weekly progress reports.

3. REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

Preferred Qualification:

- Diploma in Civil Engineering / ITI / relevant technical qualification.
- Candidates with strong practical site experience may also be considered.

4. EXPERIENCE

Required Experience: 2–3 years

Candidates with experience in the following will be preferred:

- Industrial construction projects
- Factory construction
- Warehouse construction
- RCC construction
- PEB/industrial shed projects
- Civil infrastructure projects
- Commercial construction projects





5. REQUIRED SKILLS

- Practical knowledge of construction site activities.
- Basic knowledge of civil drawings.
- Knowledge of RCC, shuttering, reinforcement, and masonry work.
- Ability to supervise labour and subcontractors.
- Basic knowledge of construction measurements.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to maintain site discipline.
- Ability to work under project deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel/WhatsApp for reporting will be an advantage.

6. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)

The Site Supervisor will be evaluated based on:

- Daily work progress.
- Quality of site execution.
- Manpower productivity.
- Adherence to project schedules.
- Proper utilization of materials.
- Compliance with safety procedures.
- Accuracy of measurements and reporting.
- Coordination with engineers and contractors.
- Reduction in rework and material wastage.
- Overall discipline and site management.

7. REPORTING

Reports To: Site Engineer / Senior Project Engineer / Project Manager

- Stores & Purchase Department
- Client/Consultant Representatives

8. JOB LOCATION

Vatva Industrial Area, Ahmedabad, Gujarat

The candidate must be comfortable working at an industrial project site and managing day-to-day site execution activities.

9. SALARY

Salary: As per experience and technical competency.

Final salary will be discussed during the interview and technical evaluation based on the candidate's experience, practical site knowledge, technical skills, and ability to independently supervise industrial construction activities.

10. IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

The ideal candidate should be a hands-on site supervisor who can effectively manage workers and contractors, understand basic construction drawings, monitor daily execution, identify site problems, and coordinate with the engineering team.

Candidates who have previously worked on industrial/factory projects, RCC structures, PEB projects, warehouses, or similar construction sites will be given preference.
