We are looking for a warm, responsible, hygienic, and experienced full-time live-in nanny to care for our 11-week-old baby in Greater Kailash-1, New Delhi.

This is a long-term role for someone who genuinely enjoys newborn care and can provide calm, attentive, safety-first support in a respectful family home.

Role and schedule

- Live-in, full-time role with support required day and night as per the baby’s routine.
- A reasonable daily break, sleeping arrangement and meals will be provided and agreed in advance.
- Start date: Immediately / as mutually agreed.
- Location: GK-1, New Delhi.

Main responsibilities

- Provide safe, loving, attentive care for the baby at all times.
- Follow the parents’ written routine for feeding, burping, nappy changes, bathing, naps, play, and sleep.
- Support breastfeeding/formula feeding as instructed; sterilise bottles, feeding equipment, and baby items correctly.
- Change nappies, maintain baby hygiene, and keep the baby’s skin and clothes clean and comfortable.
- Wash, dry, fold, and organise baby clothes, towels, bedding, and related items.
- Keep the nursery, changing area, toys, bottles, and baby equipment clean and hygienic.
- Help establish age-appropriate sleep, play, tummy-time, and soothing routines.
- Monitor the baby closely and immediately inform parents of any fever, unusual crying, rash, feeding problem, injury, or change in behaviour.
- Accompany the baby for walks, doctor visits, vaccinations, or family outings when needed.
- Maintain a simple daily log of feeds, naps, nappies, medicines (only if parent-approved), and any concerns.
- Respect the family’s privacy and house rules.

Non-negotiable baby-safety rules

- No leaving the baby unattended—on a bed, sofa, changing table, bath, or elsewhere.
- Follow safe-sleep instructions from the parents/pediatrician: baby placed on their back in their designated sleep space; no loose pillows, blankets, toys, or unsafe items.
- No medication, home remedy, massage oil, food, water, honey,



or formula change without parental approval.
- No shouting, hitting, shaking, rough handling, or force-feeding.
- No phone use while feeding, carrying, bathing, or supervising the baby.
- No smoking, tobacco, alcohol, or intoxicants.
- Strict handwashing before handling the baby, feeding, or touching bottles/sterilised items.
- Must inform parents before allowing anyone near the baby. No visitors.

Candidate requirements

- Prior hands-on experience caring for newborns/infants, ideally babies under six months.
- At least two recent and verifiable family references.
- Calm, patient, affectionate, reliable, and alert.
- Excellent personal hygiene: clean clothes, clean hands, short clean nails, and no strong perfume.
- Able to communicate clearly in Hindi; basic English is preferred.
- Able to follow written instructions and maintain a consistent routine.
- Comfortable with CCTV in common areas for the baby’s safety.
- First-aid/infant-care training is strongly preferred.
- Must provide Aadhaar/government ID, permanent address proof, recent photograph, and consent for police/background verification.

Nice to have

- Basic education and ability to speak/read simple English.
- Experience supporting breastfeeding mothers, sterilisation, bottle feeding, colic, and newborn sleep routines.
- Experience in a long-term live-in role with a family.
- CPR or first-aid training.

Salary and advantages

- Salary: Negotiable based on experience, references, and newborn-care skills.
