About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Web Developer with 4–5 years of hands-on experience to join our technology team in the travel industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing responsive, scalable, and user-friendly web applications for travel booking and related digital platforms.

The candidate should have a strong understanding of modern web development practices and preferably experience working on travel, hospitality, OTA, booking, or e-commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance websites and web applications.
- Build and enhance travel-related features such as flight, hotel, holiday, package, and activity booking interfaces.
- Integrate third-party APIs for travel inventory, payment gateways, maps, notifications, and other services.
- Develop reusable, scalable, and maintainable frontend and backend components.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, QA engineers, and backend developers.
- Optimize websites for speed, scalability, SEO, security, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and production incidents.
- Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards and best practices.
- Work with databases and APIs to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
- Implement responsive designs that work seamlessly across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Monitor application performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Stay updated with emerging web technologies and industry best practices.

Skills & Experience

- 4–5 years of professional experience in web development.
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web development.




- Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Good understanding of REST APIs and third-party API integrations.
- Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, PHP, Java, or .NET is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Experience with Git and version-control workflows.
- Good understanding of website performance optimization and SEO fundamentals.
- Experience with authentication, payment integration, and secure web development practices.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.Travel Industry Experience – Preferred
- Experience working with OTA, travel booking, hospitality, airline, hotel, or tourism platforms.
- Understanding of travel booking flows and customer journeys.
- Experience integrating flight/hotel inventory APIs, GDS/API providers, payment gateways, or travel aggregators.
- Familiarity with booking engines, availability/search systems, pricing, cancellations, and itinerary management.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
