Suncorp International LLP is looking for a responsible, experienced and hands-on Godown / Warehouse In-Charge to manage our day-to-day warehouse and inventory operations.

Candidates residing in Cossipore, Sinthee, Chitpur, Dum Dum, Belgachia, Shyambazar, Baranagar, Dunlop, BT Road and nearby areas will be given preference due to the location of the godown.

We are particularly looking for someone who can travel to the godown conveniently and take long-term responsibility for the operation.

Key Responsibilities

- Take complete responsibility for daily godown and stock operations.
- Receive materials and verify item, quantity and condition against invoices/challans.
- Maintain proper stacking, identification and storage of materials.
- Maintain accurate item-wise stock records.
- Handle all inward and outward material movements.
- Verify quantity and material before every dispatch.
- Maintain dispatch-related documents and records.
- Conduct regular physical stock counting and reconciliation.
- Immediately report shortage, excess, damage or stock mismatch.
- Supervise helpers involved in loading, unloading and material movement.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to minimise damage.
- Maintain godown cleanliness, discipline and security.
- Coordinate with the Sales, Purchase and Accounts teams regarding stock and dispatch requirements.
- Maintain inventory records using Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
- Provide regular stock and dispatch updates to management.

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

- Has 2–5 years of practical experience in godown, store or warehouse operations.




- Has hands-on experience in physical stock management.
- Understands inward, outward, dispatch and stock reconciliation.
- Can independently manage day-to-day warehouse activities.
- Has experience supervising warehouse helpers.
- Has basic knowledge of Tally and MS Excel.
- Is responsible, disciplined and trustworthy.
- Can work independently with minimum supervision.
- Has good communication skills in Hindi and Bengali.
- Is looking for a stable, long-term position.

Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates who have previously worked with:

Abrasives | Industrial Materials | Hardware | Electrical Goods | Engineering Products | Tools | Steel | Construction Materials | Trading/Distribution

will be preferred.

What We Expect

The person joining us will be responsible for ensuring:

Accurate Stock → Proper Storage → Correct Records → Correct Dispatch → Regular Reconciliation

The physical stock should match the records, and every inward/outward movement should be properly checked and documented.

Salary

₹15,000 – ₹17,000 per month, depending on relevant experience and suitability.

Candidates from Cossipore and nearby North Kolkata areas will be strongly preferred.
