Child Remedial Educatior will be responsible for delivering theoretical and practical training in child learning difficulties, assessment, remedial intervention planning and progress monitoring. The faculty will prepare students to apply evidence-based remedial strategies through case studies, demonstrations, practical activities and supervised application.
Key Responsibilities
- Academic Teaching
- Deliver the Child Remedial Educator curriculum as per the prescribed course outcomes.
- Explain concepts related to learning difficulties, developmental needs and remedial education.
- Integrate theoretical knowledge with practical applications and real-world cases.
- Practical Training
- Demonstrate assessment techniques and remedial teaching strategies.
- Train students to identify children's learning needs and formulate individualized intervention plans.
- Conduct practical sessions, case discussions, role plays and intervention demonstrations.
- Guide students in selecting appropriate remedial activities and teaching materials.
- Assessment & Intervention
- Train students in basic screening, assessment interpretation and case formulation.
- Teach assessment-informed intervention planning and goal setting.
- Demonstrate methods for implementing, documenting and monitoring remedial interventions.
- Guide students in evaluating children's progress and modifying interventions accordingly.
- Student Mentoring & Evaluation
- Provide individual and group guidance to students during practical work.
- Assess student performance through assignments, practical activities, case presentations and examinations.
- Provide constructive feedback to improve students' professional and practical skills.
- Mentor students in professional conduct and ethical practices.
- Resources & Professional Development
- Provide current research, evidence-based practices, case examples and professional resources.
- Keep course content updated with developments in remedial education and learning disabilities.
- Encourage students to develop problem-solving, observation and clinical reasoning skills.
- Academic & Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain lesson plans, attendance, assessment records and other academic documentation.
- Coordinate with the academic team regarding curriculum delivery and student progress.
- Participate in faculty meetings, academic reviews, workshops and institutional activities.
- Ensure teaching and practical activities are aligned with institutional standards and course requirements.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
