Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Store Supervisor to supervise store operations and ensure effective inventory control, accurate documentation, timely material availability, and smooth coordination between the Stores department and other departments. The candidate will be responsible for supervising store staff and ensuring compliance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the Stores department.
- Monitor receiving, storage, issuing, and movement of all materials.
- Supervise Store In-Charge, Store Assistants, and other store personnel.
- Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery documents.
- Ensure proper inspection and documentation of received materials.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment of required items.
- Review and maintain accurate inventory records and stock registers.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and investigate discrepancies.
- Prepare and review stock reports, consumption reports, and inventory summaries.
- Ensure proper documentation of GRNs, material issue slips, requisitions, and other store records.
- Monitor stock movement and identify unusual consumption, wastage, or discrepancies.
- Ensure proper FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Accounts, F&B;, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and other departments for material requirements.
- Ensure proper storage conditions, labeling, stacking, and security of inventory.
- Assist in monthly,



quarterly, and annual stock audits.
- Monitor expiry dates of applicable items and ensure proper stock rotation.
- Train and guide store staff on inventory procedures and company policies.
- Ensure the store remains clean, organized, safe, and compliant with company standards.
- Report major stock discrepancies, damages, shortages, or operational issues to management.
- Implement procedures to minimize wastage, pilferage, and inventory losses.
- Prepare regular reports for management as required.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

- 3–5 years of experience in stores, inventory, warehouse, or materials management.
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
- Experience in hospitality, hotel, casino, restaurant, or F&B; stores will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and inventory management systems.
- Good understanding of stock reconciliation and inventory control.
- Solid organizational and documentation skills.
- Good leadership and team-management abilities.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Responsible, disciplined, and detail-oriented.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with previous experience supervising stores in a hotel, casino, restaurant, resort, or hospitality environment will be preferred.

Candidates from Goa or willing to relocate to Goa are preferred.
