LIZ PAUL is a contemporary couture fashion label known for its distinctive interpretation of Indian craftsmanship, luxurious textiles, intricate surface development and modern fashion aesthetics.

We are looking for a highly creative and technically strong Textile & Print Graphic Designer who can translate fashion concepts into sophisticated textile prints, surface graphics and artwork for couture collections.

This is a hands-on design role for someone who understands that a textile print for couture is not simply a graphic—it needs to work with the silhouette, fabric, embroidery, craftsmanship and overall design language of the collection.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop original textile prints, surface patterns, motifs and graphic artworks for couture and high-fashion collections.
- Create both placement/engineered prints and repeat prints for garments.
- Develop print concepts based on seasonal collection themes, mood boards, colour stories and designer briefs.
- Research current Indian and international fashion, textile, colour and print trends and translate them into commercially relevant designs.
- Create sophisticated motifs inspired by art, architecture, Indian crafts, heritage, nature, contemporary culture and other relevant references.
- Develop different colourways and variations of approved prints.
- Prepare artwork according to garment placement, silhouette and fabric requirements.
- Work closely with the Fashion Designer, Design Team and Sampling Team to develop and refine prints.
- Prepare production-ready artwork and print files, including repeats, separations, scales and placements wherever required.
- Maintain organised artwork libraries, print archives, colourways and design references.
- Ensure accuracy in scale, composition, colour, repeat,



placement and final artwork.
- Work on multiple collections/projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
- Keep yourself updated with new textile techniques, digital design tools, fashion trends and surface-development techniques.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate should have:

- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in textile print / fashion graphic / surface design.
- Strong preference for candidates who have worked with a fashion designer, couture label, premium ethnic-wear brand or luxury fashion house.
- Excellent understanding of textile prints, patterns, motifs, placement prints and repeat development.
- Strong knowledge of colour theory, colour combinations and colour balancing.
- Ability to understand how artwork translates from a computer screen to an actual garment/fabric.
- Strong drawing, illustration and visualisation skills.
- Excellent sense of composition, proportion, scale and detailing.
- Strong fashion and design sensibility.
- Ability to interpret a designer's concept and develop artwork without requiring excessive supervision.

Software Skills

Mandatory:

- Adobe Photoshop – Advanced
- Adobe Illustrator – Advanced

Good to have:

- CorelDRAW
- Adobe InDesign
- Procreate
- Other textile/print design software
- Basic knowledge of embroidery/design digitisation software
- High attention to detail and patience for refinement.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced couture studio where designs can go through multiple rounds of sampling and changes.

Couture / Surface Design Experience – Preferred

Preference will be given to candidates who have experience working with:

- Couture / designer labels
- Bridal & occasion wear
- Luxury ethnic wear
- High-fashion womenswear
- Embroidered textiles
- Surface embellishment
- Hand & digital printing
- Placement/engineered prints
- Intricate motifs and artwork
- Designer-led seasonal collections

Experience with established Indian fashion/design houses will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹43,500.00 - ₹70,500.00 per month
