Design Engineer / Sr. Design Engineer
Location: Ahmedabad
Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000/- per month
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical
Experience: 1–5 Years
Industry: Machine Manufacturing

Job Responsibilities:

- Design and develop machines/products as per market requirements and company guidelines.
- Prepare and release manufacturing drawings, layouts, BOMs and related documents.
- Check tolerances, dimensions, fits, surface treatment, weight, costing and other drawing parameters.
- Support production and other departments to ensure machines are built as per design specifications.
- Modify existing products and designs wherever required.
- Identify opportunities for production improvement and cost reduction.
- Ensure proper execution of ERP BOMs across departments.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for customer complaints and provide design solutions.
- Prepare SOPs/checklists and maintain engineering records.




- Calculate design factors including tolerance, fits, dimensions and material strength.
- Coordinate with different departments for process and system improvements.
- Monitor design activities and support team members.

Required Skills:

- Solid experience in Machine Manufacturing / Machine Design
- Solid Edge – Mandatory
- AutoCAD – Mandatory
- SolidWorks & SolidWorks PDM – Added advantage
- Knowledge of manufacturing drawings, BOM, tolerances and fits
- Product modification and troubleshooting experience
- RCA / customer complaint handling experience
