JOB DESCRIPTION — SALES MANAGER, HOSPITAL AND CLINIC SERVICES

Role Summary

The Sales Manager will be responsible for converting patient enquiries into consultations and appropriate treatment programmes while ensuring ethical, transparent and patient-centred communication. The role includes managing counsellors and telecalling teams, monitoring leads, improving conversions and achieving departmental revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and Enquiry Management
- Manage enquiries received through telephone, WhatsApp, website, social media, referrals, walk-ins and marketing campaigns.
- Ensure every lead is contacted promptly and recorded correctly in the CRM or lead tracker.
- Allocate enquiries to counsellors and monitor follow-up.
- Track the complete patient journey from initial enquiry to consultation, treatment and follow-up.
- Identify and re-engage missed, inactive and unconverted leads.
- Consultation and Treatment Conversion
- Improve conversion of enquiries into consultations and consultations into appropriate treatments.
- Support counsellors in explaining treatment programmes, packages, payment options and appointment processes.
- Ensure that medical advice, clinical outcomes or guarantees are not provided by non-medical sales staff.
- Coordinate with doctors to obtain accurate treatment plans and cost estimates.
- Ensure patients receive transparent information without pressure, exaggeration or misleading claims.
- Team Management
- Lead patient counsellors, telecallers, relationship executives and sales coordinators.
- Set daily,



weekly and monthly individual and team targets.
- Conduct daily lead-review and conversion meetings.
- Train team members in communication, service knowledge, CRM usage, objection handling and patient etiquette.
- Monitor call quality, response time, follow-up discipline and conversion performance.
- Revenue Management
- Prepare department-wise sales and revenue plans.
- Monitor consultation bookings, procedure bookings, treatment packages, advance collections and treatment completion.
- Track discounts and ensure they are provided only with authorised approval.
- Identify revenue gaps and recommend corrective action.
- Work with management to improve average patient value, treatment completion and repeat visits.
- Coordination with Marketing and Operations
- Share lead-quality and conversion feedback with the marketing team.
- Analyse campaign-wise leads, cost per lead, appointment rate and conversion rate.
- Coordinate with the Medical Centre Manager regarding doctor availability, appointment capacity and treatment scheduling.
- Support health camps, promotional events, patient education programmes and clinic launches.
- Ensure that offers and promotions comply with clinic policy and ethical healthcare communication standards.
- Reporting
- Maintain accurate CRM and sales data.
- Submit daily enquiry, appointment, consultation and conversion reports.
- Prepare weekly and monthly revenue forecasts.




- Track performance by department, campaign, counsellor and enquiry source.
- Present actionable sales insights to management.

Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospital Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 4–6 years of experience in hospital, clinic, healthcare or medical-service sales.
- At least 2 years of experience leading a sales, counselling or telecalling team.
- Experience in cosmetic surgery, hair restoration, fertility, dental, dermatology, weight management, wellness or elective medical services is preferred.
- Robust knowledge of CRM systems, lead funnels, sales reporting and revenue forecasting.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Tamil; additional languages are an advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
