Hiring – Data Center Cabling Technicians (Live Hyperscale Environment)
APSK is looking for skilled Data Center Cabling Technicians to work in live hyperscale Data Center environments across Hyderabad & Mumbai Region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mounting, cabling, patching, and labeling of network/server devices in live environment.
- Fiber optic & copper cabling installation, dressing, Labelling & Testing.
- Rack installation, Rack fixing, Mounting, cable management, and patch panel termination
- Testing and validation using Fluke / Viavi Fiber testing tools
- Asset handling, material movement, and inventory coordination with inventory management
- Following Data Center safety, security, and operational standards in Live DC environment.
- Supporting live production environments with zero-disruption approach
- Working in shifts including weekends/night activities as per project requirement or available downtime.
- Daily reporting and coordination with Project Leads & Customer teams
Required Skills:
- Experience in structured cabling in Data Center - Colo or Hyperscale deployment
- Knowledge of Fiber optics, MPO/MTP patching & testing of same
- Experience in live Data Center / Hyperscale projects only
- Ability to work in critical and fast-track environments
- Understanding of rack elevations, labeling, cut sheets and documentation patching standards.
Preferred:✔ Colo / Hyperscale DC experience Techs, Engineers & Team Leads only
✔ Yellow Badge / Data Center compliance experience will be preferred.
✔ Familiarity with OTDR, FLUKE, VIAVI & Fiber Scoping tools for DC workplace
