About the Role

Aimlay Private Limited is hiring Domestic Academic Counsellors for its counselling team.

We are looking for enthusiastic, target-oriented, and excellent communicators who can effectively counsel prospective students regarding higher education programs and guide them throughout the admission process.

Candidates proficient in South Indian languages such as Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, or Malayalam will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Connect with prospective students through calls and other communication channels.
- Understand students' educational backgrounds and requirements.
- Counsel students regarding suitable higher education programs.
- Explain course details, eligibility, admission procedures, fees, and other relevant information.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with interested students and assist them throughout the admission/enrolment process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students.
- Achieve assigned counselling, admission, and revenue targets.
- Maintain accurate student records and regularly update the CRM.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth admission process.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Excellent communication, counselling, and convincing skills.
- Proficiency in Hindi and/or English.
- Proficiency in at least one South Indian language is highly preferred:
- Tamil
- Telugu
- Kannada
- Malayalam




- Experience in Academic Counselling, Education Counselling, Admission Counselling, Inside Sales, Telecalling, or EdTech Sales will be preferred.
- Comfortable working in a target-driven and sales-oriented environment.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students.
- Ability to handle follow-ups and convert prospective leads into admissions.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidates who can communicate fluently with students from Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, or Kerala.
- Experience in the Education or EdTech industry will be an added advantage.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period will be preferred.
- Candidates should be comfortable working from the Rohini, Delhi office.
