Key Skill Must have:

- Must know MQ/IIB cluster and hands-on experience with SSL certificate installation.
- Have deep knowledge of Client-server and server-server architecture configuration
- Must have hands-on experience in MQ/IIB migration and troubleshooting skills.
- Must have hands-on experience in QM and queue-related error troubleshooting
- Must have ITIL knowledge and deployment.
- Must have IIB product knowledge and SSL configuration, etc

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- The primary function of the Application Administrator is to implement, maintain, monitor, and support production and non-production application landscapes hosted in the datacenter
- Administer and support customer n-tier applications
- Proactively manage and maintain web servers & application servers
- Alert customer with up-to-date security patch updates
- Release maintenance and management
- Adherence to change management process
- 24x7 application availability support and incident management
- Present technical findings from incidents to customers and management, including future recommendations
- Assist in defining engineering standards and ensuring standards are executed within the environment
- Keep support documents up to date
- Proactively identify and automate the routine tasks or hand over to operations
- Implement customer projects promptly
- Disaster Recovery support
- Capacity planning
- Performance tuning

Required Qualifications:





- 8-10+ years of administrative experience using IBM MQ Family tool sets including IBM Message Broker, IIB, MQ, and ACE 11.x
- Create and manage MQ QM infrastructure
- Create and maintain IIB nodes/Integration Servers
- Familiar with general security concepts (authentication, authorization, encryption, digital signatures, etc), PKI concepts, SSL, AAA, Web Service Proxies, XML firewalls, and multi-protocol gateways.
- Load balancing of the IIB/MQ traffic
- Excellent working knowledge of all versions of Windows, Unix, Linux, and AIX
- Support / Install WebSphere QMGRs on MQ Appliance Distributed UNIX environment
- Install / Upgrade / Configure IBM Integration Bus
- Auto Deploy Code to IBM Integration Bus
- Positive knowledge of JMS (Java Message Service), Web Services,
- Troubleshoot MQ issues related to message-driven beans
- Migrate QMGRs from Distributed env to MQ Appliance
- Proficient in IBM WebSphere MQ & IBM Message Broker/IBM Integration Bus administration (v5,6,7,9,10)
- Experience in Installation and Administration of IIB and MQ on various platforms
- Working Knowledge with IIB 10 and ACE 11
- Monitoring application and system logs to identify problems/issues proactively
- Configuration like ODBC, Configurable Services in IIB
- Understanding of Best practices to be followed in IIB
- Good understanding of implementing security in IIB
- Extensive knowledge and experience in IIB 9/10/ACE 11
- Worked in vast setups of IIB
- Experience in troubleshooting IIB
- Responsible for designing and implementing advanced MQ & Broker
- Basic scripting knowledge.
- Maintain daily logs of operational issues and maintenance activities; Contribute to business meetings and report on issue status
- Address customer issues promptly and accurately
- Apply ITIL methodologies
- Good communication skills
