Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and verify quantity estimates (BOQ) for railway works such as earthwork, track, bridges, buildings, and platforms.
- Scrutinize contractor bills and measurements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract provisions.
- Monitor project costs and budgets, tracking expenditure against approved estimates.
- Evaluate variations and extra items, preparing cost analyses and supporting documentation for approvals.
- Prepare cost and progress reports and coordinate with the Resident Engineer, contractors, and railway authorities for effective project financial management.
